Project PI?s Marshall Chin and Monica Peek were recently featured in the March 2014 issue of Endocrine News. The article, entitled ?Separate but Unequal: The Disparities of Diabetes?, surveys interventions across the county aimed to reduce diabetes disparities among minority populations.

Project Affiliate and Investigator Shantanu Nundy?s text messaging study was recently featured by Health Affairs. The study?s focus on connected healthcare through text messaging demonstrates an exciting opportunity for physicians to keep connected with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes. The findings show that text messaging is a helpful tool for empowering patients in their diabetes self-management.
